Through its subsidiary, Sigma Kudos, Sigma (listed on the OMX Stockholm Stock Exchange) has signed a contract with a world-leading telecom company in Shanghai, China. Under this contract, Sigma Kudos will initially deliver services within the area of Information Logistics covering Packet Core and IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem). The multi-year contract was won under the merits of good quality and the ability to improve customer efficiency. 

Niklas Börjesson, Executive Director, Operations and Customer Strategy for Sigma Kudos says: ”The contract is yet another proof of customers appreciating the effort we have made in China. We are far ahead of the roadmap that was once set up for China.”

Sigma Kudos is convinced that this assignment will generate more work in the future and therefore a new office has been set up in Shanghai. The office hosts 4 employees today but is expected to grow rapidly. In 2008, the company calculates that about 20 employees will be located at the Shanghai office. Sigma Kudos China will increase the number of employees by 30 within the same period of time.

Sigma Kudos is currently doing business with several customers in Shanghai who are operating within telecom and new customers are knocking on our door.
